First Trip away from Home

So last week Addison had quite the adventure we went to a baby shower in Weir and then on Monday I had to take her to the doctor and she had hand foot and mouth disease. My parents were so kind as to watch Addison on Tuesday since she was banned from daycare (Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Stoffel). And then as most of you are aware that Addison went and stayed with her Nana and Papa in Olney. This was Addison's first overnight visit and it was 5 hours away from home. We were in a bit of a jam due to the daycare being closed and had one volunteer in town who stepped up and offered to watch Addison (thank you Kim) and then we had Jimmy's parents who were willing to drive 5 hours to pick her up and take her back for the rest of the week until we made it up there on Friday night. It was the hardest decision I have had to make in awhile, and then after talking to a couple of my closest advisors came to the realization the only issue I was having was my feelings worrying how I was going to handle it, which was selfish, Jimmy and I were both going to be super busy that week and not have much time for her and here are her grandparents offering to take her for 3 days and nights. They would have the time to play with her and really enjoy their time together without her nagging parents there. So Addison rode up to Olney with Karen and Granny Green to us or Granny Blue to Addison and went up and stayed in Olney and had the best time in the world. And we managed to hang in there, we missed her but knew she was in very good hands. So I just want to say a Thank you to my in laws for being there for us and taking such good care of Addison. She asks about you both everyday and was trying to tell the kids at daycare about the pool and Taffy. So again thank you I don't want to drag it out and sound like a poor pathetic mother but I don't know how we could make it sometimes without your love and support.

Trip to the Olney lake, this is the best view....Seriously

Blurry but fun, Jack, Skeet Granny and all of us played some 42 and chatted for the better part of the evening.

More Pool pics

Like I said she was in there a lot. We were obviously not at our house or our dogs would have been laying in the pool by now, these fun pics were taken in Olney.

This has become one of the all time mommy favorite pictures, it just screams out Addison, you can almost hear her saying "Whats that"
Do you have the Captain in you?

Best $5 every spent

I got this pool in the Wal Mart Clearance section for 5 bucks and she loved this darn thing. She kicked, jumped, made it rain and splashed as much as she could, she loves the water.

But the water was a bit chilly

But she toughed it out, if it meant getting out of the pool she was not going to have it.

Petting Zoo at weiner dog races

Cousin Leslie took Addison in to the petting zoo compliments of Grandparents. She loves animals.
The look of sheer panic over Cousin Leslie's face is because our dear sweet Addison mistook the bunny for something that needed squishing and raise her foot as if to smash the bunny. She was stopped and no harm was done to the bunny and she learned you pet bunnies.
